Performance by Esyllt Angharad Lewis

We’re delighted to be hosting Welsh artist, translator and PhD Researcher Esyllt Angharad Lewis next week! 

Current resident at g39 (Cardiff), and fresh from being recent Associate at Peak Cymru (Powys), a performance at Eisteddfod (Pontypridd), and exhibition at The Revelator (Glasgow), Esyllt will be making a new performance especially for PS2. 

Loitering in the space between art and language, this performance uses the sounds of Welsh and Gaelic to experiment with the voice as an instrument, interrogating questions of performing identity and language as consumption. 

The performance will be followed by informal discussion around the intersections between language and interdisciplinary art practices.
